Many of our patients have health insurance but choose to see us to receive integrated care and send their self-claims receipts to their insurance.
Medicare Patients: If we are not billing Medicare, the law prevents us from providing Medicare patients with what would be considered “normally covered services”. We can offer Medicare patients services that Medicare does not cover (including orthotics). Any service offered would not be eligible for reimbursement by Medicare. Initial evaluations
Your initial evaluation will be approximately 75 minutes.
An evaluation is a question and answer period while you move. The physical therapist interviews you about your area(s) of pain and/or injury. What were you able to do before? What can’t you do now? When did it start? What helps it? What makes it worse? Questions to get to the root of the issue. Then deeply looking at the body; your way of moving, walking, strength, mobility, flexibility and, always, hands-on treatment on your first visit. You’ll review a video of how you move (taken in office) and we can show you where your body is going sideways.
Then you and the physical therapist will make a plan to get you back to being healthier than you were before. Maybe for a long time before.

regular follow up visit
After your initial evaluation you will return for treatment or sign up for telehealth sessions that run 55 minutes.
These sessions are a road map to your healing; what the physical therapist and you agreed on in the planning phase of your initial evaluation. Your treatment will be a mixture of hands-on therapy, movement analysis, corrective exercises and a personalized home exercise program.

110 minute longer follow up visit
After your initial evaluation, if you and Dr. Carlone agree it’s right for you, you can schedule a longer session. This longer session is approximately 110 minutes.
In a longer visit you have the chance to dive deeper and experience more alignment in a single session as the body lets go of long held patterns of injury and adopts greater freedom of movement.

Custom functional orthotics
Dr. Carlone’s custom functional orthotics are one of the main reasons she is known as “the foot whisperer”. Please see our FAQs page for more information. On occasion Dr Carlone creates a different orthotic (cpt code L3000, less than 4% of patients) which is $450.
Once we’ve created one pair for you we can create a second pair, without an appointment, for $275.00 ($375 original price) or $350 ($450 original price).

Just orthotics? No physical therapy?
Just want orthotics and not physical therapy? For our normal orthotics (cpt L3010 or L3020) our charge is $450 for the orthotics, a 30 minute casting appointment and a 15-30 minute fitting appointment.
For the higher priced L3000, our charge is $525 for the orthotics, a 30 minute casting appointment and a 15-30 minute fitting appointment.
While we offer this, we strongly encourage physical therapy at the same time. The orthotics are designed to go hand-in-hand with therapy and doing both will offer you the BEST overall treatment.

Follow up level iii
Want to take your healing up a notch? Book a 110 minute session with two healers. One will be your physical therapist and the second will depend upon availability. Ask what’s available.
