Amber Lippel, BA, LMT
Amber is a talented massage therapist and movement arts teacher with offices in Eugene and Portland. She is Master Resiliency Trainer, Reiki Master, yoga teacher and artist.
As a healing practitioner, Amber treat all the levels of being; bringing mind, body and spirit into harmony. Amber focuses on the individual, being present and creating a supportive container for transformation. She calls her practice “intuitive therapy” and employs a multitude of tools to support holistic wellness.
The “Life-as-Art” approach and holistic wellness mentality has re-empowered Amber to trust the creative process and to believe in her dreams. After spending 9 years in the military, Amber resigned her position in 2012 to follow a more authentic and integral path. She is starting Divine Alchemy Farm to share supportive, healing practices to advance all areas of our lives.
Amber has pointed me in the right direction and is a very wonderful facilitator for anybody serious about making lasting holistic changes. Sutra 1.2 Yoga citta vritti nirodhah, translates to “Yoga is the calming of the fluxuations of the mind”. The practice of yoga offers a pathway to peace and liberation. Kathryn’s relationship with yoga began in San Francisco during her early 20’s. After her first class, she realized she had caught a glimpse of relief. Relief from the chaos of her mind, and a taste of the experience of stillness described in the yoga sutra. Feeling deeply inspired and intrigued about the mysteries embedded in this ancient practice, Kathryn dove into a lifelong, passionate and deeply dedicated relationship with yoga.
Kathryn has trained in several modalities, including yogic lifestyle and philosophy, bhakti yoga, bikram, ashtanga, and most recently, kundalini. Her most influential teachers are Stephanie Snyder, Sri Dharma Mitra, and Kia Miller. Kathryn offers classes that combine the graceful, fluid and grouding movement of vinyasa, with the meditative exploration of kundalini yoga.
Teaching yoga is an extension of Kathryn’s personal practice, and offering of that which she has so gratefully received. She is humbled to witness the unfolding of self-love that the practice of yoga brings to the student. Kathryn has been transformed by her relationship with yoga and feels that she absolutely must share these keys to freedom with others.
Her suggestion to new and experienced students is, stay open, stay curious. There is always more to learn and explore in this practice. For this practice, is a study of yourself.
